How to delete your Tailysmate account (in the app)

1. Open the Tailysmate mobile app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings (or Account / Ownership).
3. Select Delete account.
4. Confirm the request. You may be asked for a short reason and/or email verification code.
5. After you confirm, Tailysmate starts a deletion process (see retention below).

How to request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email [email protected] from the address linked to your Tailysmate account.

• Subject: Tailysmate account deletion request
• Include your Tailysmate username and the email used to sign in
• We verify ownership and process the request, normally within 30 days

What is deleted

• Account profile (username, email, profile photo, bio, and similar profile fields)
• Pets linked to the account and related posts, Tailies, listings, and plans you created
• Messages, matches, and other in-app content tied to your user ID (where technically feasible)
• Device / push tokens and notification preferences for that account

What may be retained (and for how long)

• ~30-day grace period: After you request deletion, the account enters a waiting period. Signing in again during this time may cancel deletion.
• After the grace period ends, we erase or anonymize personal data except where law requires longer retention (e.g. fraud prevention, legal claims, tax/accounting where applicable).
• Backups may take additional time to fully purge after the primary deletion.
• Content shared with others (e.g. messages in someone else’s inbox) may remain visible to them in limited form or as anonymized remnants.

Delete some data without closing the account

You can remove individual posts, pets, listings, Tailies, or plans inside Tailysmate without deleting the whole account. For broader data requests (access / correction / erasure under applicable privacy law), contact [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.

Tailysmate hesabını uygulama içinden silme

1. Tailysmate uygulamasını açın ve giriş yapın.
2. Profil → Ayarlar (veya Hesap / Sahiplik) bölümüne gidin.
3. Hesabı sil seçeneğini seçin.
4. Talebi onaylayın. Kısa bir gerekçe ve/veya e-posta doğrulama kodu istenebilir.
5. Onaydan sonra Tailysmate silme sürecini başlatır (saklama süresi aşağıda).

E-posta ile talep

Uygulama içi akışı kullanamıyorsanız, [email protected] adresine hesabınızdaki e-posta ile yazın.

• Tailysmate kullanıcı adınızı ve giriş e-postanızı yazın
• Kimlik doğrulamasından sonra talebi genelde 30 gün içinde işleriz

Silinen veriler

• Hesap profili (kullanıcı adı, e-posta, profil fotoğrafı, bio vb.)
• Hesaba bağlı pet’ler ve oluşturduğunuz gönderiler, Taily’ler, ilanlar, planlar
• Kullanıcı kimliğinize bağlı mesajlar, eşleşmeler ve benzeri içerikler (teknik olarak mümkün olduğu ölçüde)
• Cihaz / push token’ları ve bildirim tercihleri

Saklanabilecek veriler ve süreler

• ~30 günlük bekleme: Silme talebinden sonra hesap bekleme süresine girer. Bu sürede tekrar giriş yapılırsa silme iptal edilebilir.
• Süre bitince kişisel veriler yasal istisnalar hariç silinir veya anonimleştirilir (ör. dolandırıcılık önleme, hukuki talepler).
• Yedeklerden tam temizlik biraz daha sürebilir.
• Başkalarıyla paylaşılan içerikler (ör. karşı tarafın gelen kutusundaki mesajlar) sınırlı biçimde kalabilir veya anonim kalıntı olarak görünebilir.

Hesabı kapatmadan veri silme
