Hot asphalt warnings

On hot days the card warns when the pavement may burn paws. Try the 7-second test: press the back of your hand on the ground for 7 seconds — if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for paws.

Short-nosed breeds and senior pets feel the heat sooner, so their limit is lower. Plan shade and water.
